A quiet weekend night turned costly for a Guelph business after thieves targeted a parked truck. Police say the suspects worked quickly and left behind significant damage.
The Guelph Police Service is investigating after two catalytic converters valued at more than $15,000 were stolen from a truck at a west-end business.
On Monday staff from a business near Woodlawn Road West and Michener Road reported two of the exhaust components had been cut off one of the trucks in their lot.
Security video showed two individuals entering the lot through an adjacent business property at approximately 11:40 p.m. Saturday. One kept watch while the other cut the converters off the truck. Both suspects were wearing all black clothing with their faces covered and driving a red Hyundai Tucson.
