22 Year Old Charged 116km/h in 60km/h

A Guelph male was taken off the road for a month after he was caught Tuesday evening going nearly twice the speed limit.

Just before 9 p.m., a member of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit was patrolling near Wellington Street West and Imperial Road South when he clocked an Infiniti travelling 116 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.

A 22-year-old Guelph male is charged with speeding and stunt driving. His driver’s license was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
