Just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, three males entered a business near Gordon Street and Wellington Street West. One approached the cash registers and remained there, while the other two placed numerous bottles of alcohol in reusable bags they brought with them. As they were leaving the business less than two minutes later, one of the males dropped a machete which another male retrieved. The males were described as:

  1. Brown skin, dark full facial hair, wearing a black sweater, dark pants and a black toque
  2. Brown skin, dark full facial hair, wearing a baby blue half-zip sweater over black t-shirt with white writing, burgundy turban, carrying a large patterned reusable bag
  3. Brown skin, dark full facial hair, wearing a long-sleeved black, white and grey striped shirt, blue Toronto Maple Leafs cap, carrying a reusable Home Depot bag

The males did not attempt to speak to or interact with any staff or customers and there were no physical injuries reported. The value of the stolen product is unknown at this time.
