A Guelph male was arrested Thursday after he was spotted downtown riding a distinctive stolen bicycle.

Just after 10 a.m. officers were patrolling on Wyndham Street North when they spotted a male riding a blue and pink Marin bicycle. Officers noted the bicycle matched the description of one stolen earlier in the week from outside a north-end residence. The male was stopped and the bicycle confirmed to be the same one.
