$600 in Pokemon Cards Stolen, Phone Left Behind

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after thieves stole approximately $600 worth of Pokemon cards but dropped a cellphone while making their escape.

At 9 p.m. Friday, police were called to a business on Stone Road West. A male and female placed several boxes of the trading cards in shopping bags and left the store. Staff tried to stop them and followed them outside, where one of the suspects dropped their phone while they were running to their vehicle.

The first suspect was described as a white male, late 20s, medium build, black hair with a beard and pierced right nostril. He was wearing a white tank top, white jacket, black Chanel hat and jeans.


The second was an Asian female, late 20s, medium build and wearing a blue winter jacket, black pants and black shoes.
