911 Call Downtown About Man in Ski Mask with Gun

A Guelph man was arrested on outstanding warrants after drawing a lot of attention to himself Monday afternoon.

Approximately 5:40 p.m. a 911 call was received from staff of a downtown bank about a man outside wearing a ski mask and waving a gun around.

Several officers attended and located the involved man, who was in possession of an orange water gun. Investigation determined the man was wanted on three separate warrants.

A 43-year-old Guelph man is charged with mischief under $5,000 and four counts of failing to appear in court. He was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
