A Guelph male was arrested Wednesday night for stealing an adult tricycle.

Caught in Guelph (and Area) community member Anna Alexandra had originally posted to the group about her stolen Adult Tricycle.

Just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, a male entered an underground parking lot on Gordon Street near Kortright Road West and stole the tricycle valued at $1,500. A few hours later police spoke to the male on an unrelated matter and noted he was riding the three-wheeler, which had not yet been reported stolen.

Just before midnight Wednesday he was located close to the downtown and arrested for theft under $5,000 and possessing stolen property. He will appear in a Guelph court October 3, 2023.

Arrangements were made to return the tricycle.
