Arrest Made in Apartment Break-in

A Guelph man was arrested Sunday for breaking into a downtown apartment nearly a month ago.

On May 13, just before 11 p.m., a man was captured on video trying to get into the manager’s office of a downtown apartment building before kicking open the door to the electrical room. A short time later power to the building turned off and the video ended.

Officers recognized the male, and on Sunday morning he was located and arrested. A 33-year-old Guelph man is charged with break and enter. He will appear in court July 30.
