A Guelph man has been arrested after nearly $30,000 in damage was done to an apartment building earlier this month.
During the early morning hours of April 15, a man entered the building on Raymond Street which houses mainly seniors. He removed four cameras by ripping them out of the ceiling and cutting the wires. He then flooded five of the building’s eight laundry rooms by turning on the hot water and leaving it running, causing extensive damage.
The total damage is estimated at $29,000.
A 49-year-old Guelph man has been arrested for mischief over $5,000. He will appear in court June 6.
