Baby in Stroller Struck by Car at Crosswalk

An elderly Guelph woman was charged after hitting a woman pushing her baby in a stroller Thursday morning.

Approximately 11:45 a.m. police were called to the intersection of Woolwich Street and London Road East. Investigation revealed a mother was pushing her three-month-old in a stroller when they were hit within the crosswalk. The baby was not injured and the mother reported very minor injuries.

An 83-year-old Guelph woman is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with failing to yield to pedestrians.
