Bedding Stolen from South-end Business

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a south-end business reported approximately $440 worth of bedding was stolen from a business on Clair Road on Tuesday.

The south-end business reported that at approximately 1:10 PM a male and female entered the business and placed 2 x duvets and 2 x pillows in a shopping cart, along with a bunk bed. It was reported that the couple paid for the bunk bed with gift cards, that were obtained from other stores in different cities, from returning merchandise. The couple attempted to seek a refund on the duvets and pillows they had placed in their cart by telling employees they had purchased them from a different store but had lost the receipt.

The couple exited the business with the unpaid merchandise and left the area in a new model, a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Mackenzie Sissing at 519-824-1212, ext. 7553, email him at msissing@guelphpolice.ca, leave an anonymous message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) or leave an anonymous tip online at www.csgw.tips.
