Two brothers have been arrested in connection with a robbery last summer at a Guelph grocery store.
On August 18, 2024, three males entered a business near Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North. They placed a number of cosmetics items in a reusable bag before being confronted by loss-prevention staff.
One of the youths pushed the employee, causing him to stumble backwards and allowing all three to flee on foot.
On Friday two Scarborough youths – now aged 17 and 15 – were arrested for theft under $5,000, assault to resist arrest and wearing a disguise while committing an offence. They were released to appear in court July 30. The investigation is ongoing.
