Charged for Stealing Packages of Steak
Listen to this articleOn June 18th, 2023, at 12:30pm, an adult female entered a store located just outside the downtown core of the City of Guelph. She proceeded to select five packages of raw steak valued at $80 and concealed them in her bag.
The store manager attempted to stop her but was unable to before she left without paying.
On June 22nd, at 11:27am, police located the female walking in the downtown core. She was subsequently arrested.
A 57-year-old Guelph female has been charged with:
- Theft Under $5,000
- Fail To Comply With Undertaking
- Breach Probation
She will appear in court on August 1st.
