Charges After Male Throws Stones Downtown

Listen to this article

Early Monday morning, a man from Guelph was arrested on charges of mischief after reportedly hurling stones downtown.

Police responded to a complaint about a man “incoherently shouting and tossing rocks” along Wyndham Street North around 3:20 a.m. A suspect was identified, warned about his conduct, and instructed to leave the area, according to a police statement.

Approximately half an hour later, it was reported that the individual had returned and recommenced his disruptive behaviour.

Subsequently, a 38-year-old man was apprehended and charged with both mischief and violation of probation conditions.
