It’s bloom season for many lookalikes of invasive giant hogweed, including common elderberry.

Common elderberry is an important native plant eaten by many animals that we’re working to restore in Guelph’s natural areas.

Check out these photos to spot the differences. If you spot giant hogweed, don’t touch it. Take a picture and report it to The City of Guelph online at this link here.
