Delivery Van Stolen and Tracked; Credit Cards Used in Halton

The Guelph Police Service continues to investigate after a delivery van was stolen and later recovered.

Approximately 3:30 p.m. September 2, a male was making a delivery near Edinburgh Road North and Preston Street. As he was out of the vehicle, another van stopped alongside it and a passenger got into the delivery vehicle and drove away.

The victim was able to track the vehicle and it was recovered a short time later south of Guelph. The victim’s wallet and cellphone were missing and his credit card was later used in Halton Region.

The suspect was described as a slender male with brown skin and wearing a red mask, gloves and possibly a beige jacket.
