Dog Stolen Over Money Dispute

A Guelph male has been charged with robbery after a dog was stolen during a dispute over money.

On August 1, police were called to an address on York Road. The homeowner reported a male known to him had kicked the door open and entered the unit before pushing the victim and causing him to fall down. The male then called out to the owner’s dog, picked it up and left.

On Tuesday a 28-year-old Guelph male was arrested for break and enter and robbery. He will appear in Guelph court November 3.
