Female Arrested on Warrant for Missing Court

A Kitchener female originally arrested for impaired driving in Guelph more than two years ago has spent the last two nights in custody after she was arrested for missing her court date.

The 42-year-old was to appear in a Guelph court in April, 2021, on impaired driving charges. When she did not appear a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was arrested by police in another jurisdiction Wednesday evening.

She is further charged with failing to appear in court and was held to appear in bail court Friday.
