
Guelph Human Trafficking Investigation Arrest

In June 2023, the Guelph Police Service Human Trafficking Unit began an investigation involving a 34-year-old Guelph male.
As a result of the investigation, on August 8, 2023, the 34-year-old male was arrested and charged with trafficking in person, procuring, forcible confinement and withholding documents. He was held for a bail hearing.
The Guelph Police Service is working with community agencies to ensure the victim has been provided adequate supports.
