
Guelph Male Arrested on 25 Criminal Offences

On August 10, 2023, the Guelph Police Break and Enter Auto Theft (BEAT) team initiated an investigation into a stolen vehicle that was located in the parking lot of a south end residential building. As a result of the investigation, a 29 -year-old Guelph male was arrested, without incident, at the scene. As soon as the male was identified, police discovered the male was wanted on two separate warrants out of Guelph and three additional warrants throughout Southwestern Ontario.
After arrested, the male and the stolen vehicle were searched and police located stolen property, identity documents and tools used in break and enters.
In total, the 29-year-old Guelph male was charged with 25 criminal offences, including but not limited to:
- Possession of stolen property
- Break and Enter
- Several fraud related offences, including possession of identity documents and unauthorized use of credit card.
- Driving while prohibited
- Failing to comply with a Judicial Release Order
- Two counts of breaching his Probation Order
The male was held for a bail hearing.
