Guelph Male Steals Wallet, Already Wanted

A Guelph male faces several charges after a wallet was stolen Tuesday.

Just after 11 a.m. a male reported his wallet was stolen from his work truck while he was completing a job on Silvercreek Parkway North. His credit card was used a short time later at a nearby business.

Officers arrived and were able to identify a suspect from surveillance video. The male was located a short time later and it was determined he was wanted for missing a court date on outstanding charges.

A 44-year-old Guelph male is additionally charged with using a stolen credit card, failing to attend court and two counts of breaching probation. He will appear in bail court July 10, 2023.
