Guelph Man Arrested After Break-in Spree

A Guelph man faces several charges following a spree of break-ins Sunday morning in a north-end neighbourhood.

Approximately 8:20 a.m. police were called to an address near Woolwich Street and Speedvale Avenue after a caller witnessed a man breaking into a shed. Officers arrived and arrested the man as he attempted to flee.

Investigation revealed the same suspect had entered three other sheds and two garages in the same neighbourhood, and also attempted to enter a residence.

A 35-year-old Guelph man is charged with six counts of break and enter and two counts of breaching a probation order. He was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
