Guelph Man Arrested After Damaging 16 Neighbours’ Vehicles

A Guelph man faces more than a dozen mischief charges after at least 16 of his neighbours had tires slashed on their vehicles.

Police began receiving calls just after 7 a.m. Friday from residents of two west-end apartment buildings. Each victim had between one and all four of their tires slashed.

Officers reviewed security camera footage and were able to identify the suspect as a resident of one of the buildings.

Shortly before 11 a.m. a 35-year-old Guelph man was arrested for 16 counts of mischief under $5,000. He will appear in court June 6.
