Guelph Man Arrested Twice in 4 Hours
A Guelph man was held for a bail hearing after being arrested twice in less than four hours Tuesday.
Just before noon, police were dispatched to an address near Quebec and Norfolk streets. Employees were attempting to remove an unwanted male when he spat at them, striking one of the women in the shoulder area.
A 47-year-old Guelph man was located a short time later by officers and arrested for assault. He was released on an undertaking with a condition not to attend the address, but 90 minutes later police were notified he had returned to the property and had also dumped the contents of a pipe on the floor, causing a small burn hole in a carpet.
The man left before officers arrived but was located later in the afternoon and further arrested for mischief under $5,000 and breaching an undertaking. He was held for a bail hearing Wednesday.
