Boat Theft
On June 27th, 2022, at 6:59am, an adult male drove his motor vehicle into a residential parking lot located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue West and Edinburgh Road North in the City of Guelph. In the parking lot there was an unattended boat sitting on a trailer. He proceeded to attach the trailer to his vehicle and drove away.
At 11:28am, police located the unattended boat and trailer in a commercial parking lot located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North.
On May 11th, 2023, at 9:55am, police arrested the male.
A 34-year-old Crediton male has been charged with:
- Theft Over $5,000
- Breach Probation x3
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing on May 15th.
Theft From Motor Vehicles
Some time between 5am and 5:30am on May 10th, 2023, two motor vehicles parked outside a residence located near the intersection of Victoria Road North and Woodlawn Road East in the City of Guelph, were entered.
Numerous items were taken including a purse containing:
- Financials cards
- Identity documents
- Canadian currency
At 5:38am, the financial cards were used to make two purchases at a store located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North.
At 6:47am, the financial cards were again used to make another two purchases at a store located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Victoria Road North.
