A Guelph woman was arrested after a Guelph Police Service officer was assaulted twice on Saturday.
On Saturday afternoon police attended a disturbance at a downtown apartment. While on scene a woman made concerning comments and barricaded herself in a room. As officers attempted to check her wellbeing she kicked one of them in the legs. She was placed under arrest but bit the same officer hard enough to leave teeth imprints through two layers of clothing.
A 24-year-old Guelph woman is charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer. She will appear in court December 9.
