Guelph Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit Makes Arrest

A Guelph man faces child pornography charges following his arrest Wednesday morning.

Members of the Guelph Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit — along with the Technological Crimes Unit and Special Victims Unit –attended a residence near College Avenue West and Dovercliffe Road.


During the search, evidence was found and a 22-year-old male resident was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography, distributing child pornography and accessing child pornography. He will appear in court March 19.

This project has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
