Guelph Purse Theft Investigation, Female Arrested

On June 20th, 2023, at 2:15pm, the adult female victim put her purse down on a table inside an establishment located in the downtown core of the City of Guelph.

Another adult female then grabbed the purse and ran out the front door.

On June 21st, at 8:23am, police located the female walking near the intersection of Eramosa Road and Metcalfe Street. She was subsequently arrested.

A 33-year-old Guelph female has been charged with:

• Theft Under $5,000
• Failing To Comply With Probation

She was held in custody pending a bail hearing on June 23rd.
