Guelph Woman Arrested in Armed Break-in
A Guelph woman has been arrested in connection with an incident earlier this year in which parties armed with knives forced their way into an apartment.
Just after midnight September 3, five people attended an apartment building on Waterloo Avenue near Woodycrest Drive looking for a male believed to be hiding in the building. They forced their way into one of the units but fled after being told police had been called.
The involved parties were identified as a result of the ongoing investigation. On Monday a 31-year-old Guelph woman was arrested and charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. She will appear in court Wednesday.
A 41-year-old Guelph man and 31-year-old Kitchener woman were previously arrested and face the same charge. The investigation is ongoing.
