Guelph Speed Camera Vandalized

Guelph’s Speed Cameras to Relocate to New School Zones on May 1st

A fresh group of speed enforcement cameras will soon target school zone speeders as they are scheduled to move to new locations across Guelph next week.

Since last August, these automated cameras have been capturing images of vehicles that exceed the speed limit, leading to tickets for the vehicle owners. Starting Wednesday, May 1, the cameras will be operational at the following locations:

  • Ecole Arbour Vista Public School on McCann Street
  • William C. Winegard Public School on Lee Street
  • Central Public School on Dublin Street North
  • June Avenue Public School on June Avenue

The cameras will monitor these sites until the end of July. This shift is part of a broader initiative, as these are the last four of 16 school zones designated for the three-month camera placements by city officials.
