Heavy Police Presence at William St & Grange St

UPDATE: As of 11:20 a.m., the situation on Grange Street has concluded. The individual who was previously barricaded inside the residence has now left the premises and is currently being evaluated by paramedics at the scene.

Caught in Guelph community member Allison Dawn posted of heavy police presence at an incident taking place at William St and Grange St.

Photos shows police cruisers as well as an officer armed with a rifle and vehicles blocking the intersection.

Police spokesperson Scott Tracey says the situation is isolated to one address, and there are no safety concerns.

According to a witness present at the scene, a dispute between a tenant and a landlord occurred earlier in the morning, although official confirmation is still pending.
