On the evening of Friday, September 15, from 5 to 11 p.m., the community is invited to the return of Hope in the Street! This year’s event has been enhanced with substantial and exciting changes that attendees won’t want to miss.

Family and friends can come together for a wonderful evening at Hope in the Street, a fully accessible event that embodies inclusiveness. Entrance is free, but donations at the door are graciously accepted.

Marking its third consecutive year, Hope in the Street will be held live at Spring Mill Distillery, located at 43 Arthur Street South. The 2023 edition offers an extended licensed area, a bigger stage, and a more engaging children’s zone. Like previous years, guests can expect a superb lineup of live music and entertainment, games and prizes for children, local food vendors, and a tasty Guelph-centric pub experience with beer and spirits from Spring Mill and Sleeman. Hope House continues to serve the community, supporting both housed and unhoused individuals, employed and unemployed, and those facing new or chronic poverty-related challenges. With services and programs that challenge poverty’s stigmas, Hope House ensures community members’ dignity and choice while providing practical skills in a community setting that promotes long-term self-sufficiency.
