Hwy 6 and Marden Road Accident

An accident took place at the intersection of Hwy 6 and Marden Road on early Thursday afternoon. Tow trucks removed both vehicles involved, and the area was attended by two OPP units as well as an unmarked car.

A representative from Wellington County OPP stated that one motorist was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The scene was cleared by approximately 2:30 p.m.


An 83-year-old resident of Guelph has been cited for reckless driving.

The intersection, which was temporarily closed, has since been reopened.
