Knife Pulled on Business Owner Over Bill

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a male pulled a knife on a business owner during a dispute over a bill.

Approximately 11:20 p.m. Thursday police were called to a licensed establishment near Silvercreek Parkway North and Speedvale Avenue West. An employee reported a customer had pulled a knife on the owner and then fled the business on foot. There were no physical injuries reported.


Officers arrived quickly but were unable to locate the suspect, who was described as a black male, mid-30s, with a slim build and black hair. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans and was last seen on foot eastbound on Speedvale Avenue.
