Large Police Presence at East End Home

Numerous police officers have entered an east end home as part of an “ongoing investigation.”

Several unmarked police vehicles are parked by a home on Hardy Street, just off Grange Street, near Victoria Road. Video taken by a nearby resident shows an officer retrieve a blue bin from the trunk of one of the vehicles and take it inside.

“There is no concern for public safety,” Guelph police spokesperson Scott Tracey said. “More details will be released as soon as possible.”

At least 13 officers were seen at and around the house, including members of the Tactics and Rescue Unit.
