Male Arrested for Mooning at Downtown Library

A Guelph male is charged with committing an indecent act after a disturbance downtown Monday morning.

Approximately 10 a.m. police were called to the downtown library for reports of a male inside acting in a belligerent manner and screaming at staff. Officers spoke to the male who left the library a short time later but was still belligerent and screaming.

As he walked away, he pulled down his pants to expose his buttocks to everyone in the area, including several children. A 31-year-old Guelph male was arrested for committing an indecent act. He will appear in court October 24.
