A Kitchener male faces several charges in connection with a break-in last month at a Guelph apartment building.

On April 14, just before 6 a.m., three parties arrived in a stolen SUV to an apartment building near Paisley Road and Elmira Road South. A crowbar was used to force open the front door and several storage lockers. A large amount of property was stolen and loaded into the SUV.

A male was identified through investigation and arrested Wednesday. A 22-year-old Kitchener male is charged with break and enter, possessing stolen property over $5,000, possessing break and enter tools and several breaches of court orders. He was held for a bail hearing Friday.

The investigation is ongoing.
