Man Arrested Downtown; Over 2 Dozen Outstanding Charges

A Guelph man was arrested Thursday on more than two dozen outstanding charges.

Approximately 9:30 a.m. officers patrolling downtown observed a male known to be wanted on several outstanding warrants related to property crimes and failing to attend court.

He was placed under arrest, and during a search of his property police recovered a large quantity of meat. A call to a nearby business confirmed someone matching the male’s description had just left the business without paying for approximately $250 worth of meat products.
