Man Arrested for Breaking into Home While Woman and Children Slept; Breaching Probation

A Guelph man wanted for breaking into a home while a woman and her children slept last month was arrested Tuesday.

Just after noon, officers located the man downtown and knew he had an outstanding warrant. Early June 10, a home near College Avenue West and Scottsdale Drive was entered while the resident and her three children were asleep.

The resident’s purse was stolen and her debit and credit cards used to make 11 purchases totalling more than $1,100.

On Tuesday a 30-year-old Guelph man was arrested for break and enter, theft under $5,000, using a stolen credit card and two counts of breaching a probation order. He was found to be in possession of a spring-assisted knife and two stolen cheques and was additionally charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts of possessing stolen property and an additional count of breaching probation. He was held for a bail hearing Wednesday.

Why don’t you ever post the name of the people who are doing these crimes they’ve already been charged do it as a public service announcement so other people know…
And some of the police on that police force are pretty shady they put stuff in statements that are not true just to get a conviction
