Motorcyclist Seriously Injured Following Collision

A Guelph male was transported to hospital with serious injuries following a collision just outside downtown Friday afternoon.

Just before 4 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Wyndham Street South and Surrey Street East for a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old Guelph male, was transported to an out of town hospital with serious but stable injuries. The driver of the automobile was uninjured.

This incident is under investigation, and police are asking for anyone with information or dash camera footage of the incident to contact Constable Todd Weinstein of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit at tweinstein@guelphpolice.ca.
