Video: Motorcyclist Injured After Hitting Geese

A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries after she crashed her bike while trying to avoid geese on the road.

Just before 9 p.m. Friday, police were called to a collision at Wellington Street East and Surrey Street East. Investigation revealed the motorcyclist lost control of her Harley Davidson while trying to avoid geese. One of the birds was hit and killed.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 53-year-old female, was transported to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. A portion of Wellington Street was briefly closed.

The incident was caught on dashcam by Thai Mac and originally posted to the Caught in Guelph community.
