Multiple Businesses Have Windows Smashed

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after three businesses had their windows smashed early Sunday.

Approximately 6:40 a.m. police were called to a business on Silvercreek Parkway North near Speedvale Avenue West. The manager had attended after receiving a call from their alarm company to find the glass door smashed and a rock inside.

Police cleared the business but it did not appear entry was gained by the suspect.

An hour later, police were called by the owner of a nearby business who said he arrived to find a front window shattered and a brick inside the business. Again, it did not appear entry was gained.

An hour after that, a third business owner reported similar damage and again a brick was located inside the business.

In two of the incidents the suspect was described as a male with a slim to medium build and short dark hair and wearing a black hoodie with white writing on the sleeve, black pants and white running shoes.
