A Guelph tenant faces a criminal mischief charge after months of harassing behaviour towards his landlords.
On Tuesday a Guelph couple attended the police station to report their tenant. Since he moved into the basement of their west-end home in July there have been 28 calls for service for noise complaints, harassing neighbours, activating fire alarms in the middle of the night and leaving his dog unattended for days, causing foul odours to fill the house.
A 23-year-old Guelph man has been arrested for mischief interfering with the lawful enjoyment of property. He will appear in court December 19.
