Pedestrian Fatality Struck on Hanlon Expressway
A portion of the Hanlon Expressway in Guelph, Ontario, is shut down due to a fatal accident involving a pedestrian early Wednesday morning.
Inquiries on the incident was first brought up in the Caught in Guelph (and Area) community at 7:37am where one member commented:
The incident occurred near College Avenue, leading to the closure of the Hanlon from Stone Road to Wellington Street and College Avenue from Janefield Drive. The closure, part of the ongoing police investigation, is likely to last until midday.
This has also resulted in the diversion of multiple bus routes and significant traffic delays in the surrounding areas.
