The Guelph Police Service is investigating after three young boys were approached by a woman outside their school on Friday.
Just before 10 a.m. police were called to a school near Downey Road and Ptarmigan Drive. Three Grade 3 students reported they were playing soccer in the schoolyard approximately 8:20 a.m. when an older woman began speaking to them. She questioned why there were no adults supervising them and suggested they wait in her vehicle. The boys ran inside and told a teacher.
The woman was described as white, in her 70s and wearing a green shirt, black shorts, a white hat and sunglasses. None of the boys reported seeing a vehicle.
