Police Investigating Man in Vehicle Who Approached Child in North End Guelph

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a man in a vehicle approached a young girl Wednesday evening.

Just after 7:30 p.m. police were called to an address near Simmonds Drive and Inverness Drive. Investigation revealed a seven-year-old girl was playing at Wilson Farm Park when she decided to walk the short distance to her home. As she walked, a male drove beside her and the driver leaned over to open the passenger door. The girl became scared and ran home.

The male was described as white, 50 to 60 years of age, bald, clean shaven and driving a black midsized car.
