Police Seeking Man Taking Photos of Minor on Guelph Transit

Authorities are seeking a man who allegedly photographed a nine-year-old girl on a public bus in Guelph on Saturday evening.

Police units were dispatched to the city bus terminal downtown at around 7:30 p.m. following a report of a male passenger capturing images of a young girl on his phone. Upon witnessing this, another passenger informed the girl’s mother, who together confronted the individual believed to be the photographer.

According to a police report, the man in question then disembarked from the bus near the intersection of Paisley Road and Imperial Road South.

The man is described as a Caucasian individual in his 60s, with grey and brown hair slicked back. He was seen wearing a blue shirt and grey trousers during the incident.
