Serious Injuries in East-end Guelph Stabbing

A Guelph man is in hospital with serious injuries following a reported stabbing Friday night.
Police were called approximately 9:45 p.m. to an address near Eastview Road and Starwood Drive. Investigation revealed one male sustained what appear to be several stab wounds. He was transported to an out of region trauma centre as a result of his injuries in life-threatening condition, but has since been upgraded to stable.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are searching for a female who is known to the victim. This is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no danger to the public.
