Several North-end Business Break-ins Over the Weekend

The Guelph Police Service is investigating break-ins to three north-end businesses early Sunday.

Approximately 3:30 a.m. police received a call from the owner of a business near Woodlawn Road West and Royal Road. The owner had attended after receiving a call from his alarm company and discovered the business had been entered.

Surveillance video showed two males entering the business just after 3 a.m. while a third waited in a black Audi. The first male had a thin to medium build and was wearing a jacket with reflective stripes over a black hoodie, dark pants and white shoes. The second was wearing a green or grey jacket, dark pants and light shoes. Both had their faces covered. Two cash boxes were reported missing.


Just after 3:30 a.m. police were called to a business at Woodlawn Road West and Silvercreek Parkway North. A glass door had been smashed and the cash drawer from the register was missing.

Sunday afternoon, officers were called to a business near Woodlawn Road West and Nicklin Road. Security video showed a similar black Audi with three males arriving at the business just before 1 a.m. Two of the males entered the business after breaking a glass door and stole cash from the registers as well as food product from a freezer.
