Shed Destroyed in Arson

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a temporary shed was destroyed by fire last week.

Officers were called Friday to a business near Woodlawn Road West and Silvercreek Parkway North. The owner reported a plastic tarp covering a temporary shed had been destroyed by fire. Surveillance video showed a male lighting the fire at 11:30 p.m. May 16. The shed and a salt spreader inside were destroyed. Damage is estimated at more than $4,000.

The male was described as having brown skin, mid-30s, medium build and wearing a dark blue jacket and grey pants.
